Questions

+What is THE LAST ONE?

A medieval fantasy battle royale for PC, built around melee: swords, axes and magic, no guns. 100 fighters drop into the Fallen Kingdom and fight through five worlds. Each world cuts the field until only two reach THE ARENA for a final duel. One walks out.

+Is it like Mordhau, Chivalry 2 or For Honor?

If you love sword fighting games like Mordhau, Chivalry 2 or For Honor, you'll feel at home: blocking, dodging, timing and combos decide every fight. The difference is the format. THE LAST ONE is a 100-player, last man standing battle royale, and every tournament has a real prize pot.

+Can I win money playing THE LAST ONE?

Yes, that's the point. Every tournament is a cash tournament: a £10 entry, and the last fighter standing takes 50% of all entry fees. With 100 fighters that's £500 for one night's work; at 1,000 fighters it's £5,000. Results are decided by how you fight. 18+, UK only.

+When is the first tournament?

Registration opens on Friday 13 November 2026 at 8pm UK time, and Tournament One is the Friday after: 20 November 2026 at 8pm. After that, a tournament runs every other Friday at 8pm, and the week before each one is registration week.

+How do I get a place in a tournament?

Each tournament has a registration week before it. You register and pay your entry in advance during that week; only paid, registered fighters fight on the night. Reserving your fighter name now is free: we never ask for card details, and you'll hear the moment registration opens.

+How does the pot work?

The planned model is a £10 entry per fighter, and the winner takes 50% of all entry fees for that tournament. At 100 players the winner would take £500, and at 1,000 players £5,000. These are worked examples, not a promised prize. Full tournament terms, including exactly how prizes are paid, are published before registration opens.

+Is it skill or luck?

Skill. Every fighter starts with the same 100 health and 100 stamina, the same rules and the same worlds. You win by blocking, dodging, timing your combos and outlasting everyone else. Not by spending more.

+Who can enter?

Launch tournaments are for UK residents aged 18 or over. We'll verify age and identity before any paid entry or prize.

+What do I play on? Can I use an Xbox controller?

THE LAST ONE is a Windows PC game. You can fight with keyboard and mouse today. Full Xbox / gamepad controller support is in development. Tell us when you reserve your fighter that you want to use a pad.

+What happens if I disconnect?

Rejoin with the same fighter name and you get your fighter back exactly as you left it: health, stamina and position. You have 60 seconds (30 in the Arena). Your fighter stays in the world while you're gone, so be quick.

+What if two fighters die at the same time?

There are no ties. Placings are decided by a fixed tie-break (who survived longer, then who had more health, damage and kills). There is always exactly one winner.

+How do I get better before the first tournament?

Read How to Play, learn your class's combo, block and dodge timing, and save your special for the moment it will land. Practice sessions for early-access fighters are planned before launch.

+Will there be more than 100 players?

Yes. We launch with 100 places per tournament and grow the field as the community grows. The goal is 1,000 fighters in a single tournament, with one survivor.
